HP Dev One is a new laptop from HP in collaboration with System76 and AMD. HP Dev One brings together premium hardware with open-source Pop!_OS and a fully integrated AMD CPU to deliver optimal performance. Intentionally designed with the right specs for productivity, battery life and a display to work in different locations, and a customizable OS for an efficient workflow.

User-friendly and intuitive, Pop!_OS is a Linux-based operating system designed especially for developers. It's a reliable, open-source OS optimized for fast navigation, easy workspace organization and fluid, convenient workflow. Compatible with most software tools and coupled with full-disk encryption out of the box, Pop!_OS is secure, too, giving you the freedom to discover and create more with your HP Dev One.

Pop!_Shop is where you'll find thousands of applications and tools available for download at the click of a button. Search and find the specific tools you need or browse tailored categories to discover new applications that can open up your world. The Pop!_Shop utilizes both apt and Flatpak to provide everything you need to get the job done.

Along with Pop!_OS, HP Dev One comes loaded with added HP features and support including LibreOffice Suite, essential productivity apps, a media player, an application store, and HP Printing and Scanning. Pop!_OS provides the latest features and security patches through rolling updates and periodic OS version upgrades, to be performed at your discretion.

It means we take your security seriously. Pop!_OS encrypts your installation by default, and enables preinstalled full-disk encryption out of the box. And, a unique private encryption key is generated during setup after you receive your computer. Good news for you. Bad news for hackers.

The HP Dev One is specially designed with specs and features for optimal performance between HP premium hardware, AMD CPU/GPU, and Pop!_OS. Additional hardware customizations are not offered at this time.

HP Dev One gives you the power to keep on coding - even when you're unplugged. The integrated HP Long Life 3-cell, 53 Wh battery can last up to 12 hours. ⁷ It's perfect for the user that's on the go, but still needs to get it all done.

The brilliant 14" diagonal FHD display has 1920x1080 resolution so you can see your work clearly. The direct light emission of this glossy display will enhance contrast and image vibrancy. And with 1000 nits for above-average brightness, this display is easier on the eyes, day or night.⁸

Customized memory selections are not offered during the purchase process. However, memory is user-accessible/upgradeable (after purchase) up to 64GB.⁵

We've got you covered. HP Dev One includes a one-year limited warranty on parts and labor. If there's a problem, just submit a support ticket for assistance. This warranty does not cover on-site repair. Terms and conditions vary by country. Certain restrictions and exclusions apply.

The System76 Launch Configurable Keyboard is a mechanical keyboard that is comfortable, fully customizable, and designed to make your workflow more efficient. HP's Creator Wireless Mouse is made for developers and creators with features like a comfortable, ergonomic design, hyper-fast scroll wheel with tili-click function, and a battery life that lasts up to 12 weeks.¹² It's Linux-compatible, and the 7 programmable buttons let you execute your commands with a click. We accept returns up to 30 days from delivery of your order. First, let us know you'd like to start the returns process by logging in to your HP Dev One account and submitting a support ticket. Then, we'll issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and email you a return label. You'll be able to track the progress of your return within your HP Dev One account. Keep in mind, only items purchased directly from hpdevone.com can be returned. We can only accept returns for HP Dev One and HP Dev One accessories sold from the hpdevone.com website. Software downloads and upgrades are not returnable; HP reserves the right to deny any returns in circumstances involving repeated returns or other abuse.

After we receive and inspect your return, we'll initiate a refund of the purchase price to your original form of payment. Please allow us up to 10 business days to complete the inspection. Once completed, you will receive an email confirmation of your refund. You'll be able to track the progress of your return by logging in to your HP Dev One account.

It's easy to make changes to your account information. Sign in and go to the account tab to view and edit information. You'll also find your recent login activity and order history on this page.

You can always find your order status within the account tab. Also, when your order ships, we'll send you an email with your shipping information and your FedEx tracking number.

If your order arrives in a damaged box and/or the product has physical damage, the warranty has you covered! Please contact our support team right away by submitting a support ticket. Check to see if the carrier accidentally delivered your order to someone else nearby.
